Introducing Isabella pouch pattern

Hello, my crafty friends! I hope you had a good start to the week?

I have a new pattern for you today, and this one is a winner in my books! Why you ask?! In two words…zipper pouch! If you follow me for awhile then you will know that I am obsessed with making zipper pouches in any shape and size. I want to make a zipper pouch every time I find a new use for them. Plus, it goes without saying that zipper pouches are quick and easy to make, are fun and a perfect project for any beginner! Ohh and not to mention they require a small amount of fabric, a zipper and little to no hardware!

Isabella pouch has a stylish rectangular shape that looks great on a dressing table or in your bathroom but is large enough if you need to pack for a trip away. It is a soft pouch that opens up on the top with a zipper. It features a handle on each side for easy carrying, which as one of my pattern testers said, makes it a perfect pouch for left and right-handers alike. Two external zipped pockets make it easier to keep smaller essentials organized, and the main fully lined compartment can carry your toiletries, skincare, cosmetics and more. Isabella pouch is the perfect unisex item!

This pattern is suitable for advanced beginners or anyone familiar with sewing zippers and box corners. It is a relatively quick sew with a lot of options for customization regarding fabric and fabric placement.

• 45 cm / 55 cm (18” / 22”) Stabilizer (optional): Fusible fleece, Decovil light
• 80 cm / 145 cm (32” / 57”) Woven fusible interfacing: Stayflex, SF101, Wovenfuse
• #5 Zipper 18 cm (7”) x 2
• #5 Zipper 35 cm (14”) x 1
• Name tag / care label x 1 (optional)
