The Penelope backpack offers a compact design that effortlessly carries essentials such as your wallet, phone, and notebook. The backpack features a stylish double-zipper pocket that runs from side to side, providing easy access to your items.

Inside, you’ll find two spacious compartments, an additional zipper pocket with a decorative overlay and a handy divider zipper pocket to keep your essentials organised and secure. Thanks to the adjustable shoulder straps and handle, you can wear it as a backpack or carry it by hand. The backpack closes securely with a flap and press lock, adding a layer of security and sophistication.

75 cm / 110 cm (30” / 43”) Lining fabric: quilting cotton, waterproof fabric, etc.
5 cm / 20 cm (2” / 8”) Non-fraying fabric (for the pocket overlay): faux leather, cork, vinyl
55 cm / 90 cm (22” / 36”) Stabiliser: Vilene H640, HeatNBond, Bosal In-R-Form, By Annie’s Soft and Stable, Vilene Style-Vil Foam
150 cm / 90 cm (59” / 36”) Woven interfacing: Pellon SF101, Wovenfuse, G700 etc.
#5 Zipper 25 cm (10”) x 2
#3 Zipper 18 cm (7 1/8”) x 1
#3 Zipper 17 cm (6 5/8”) x 1
2.5 cm (1”) Press lock/Tongue lock x 1, strap adjuster x 2
2.5 cm (1”) D-ring or Rectangle ring x 2
Rivet x 8
Name tag (optional)
Double-sided tape
Multi-surface glue, fray check glue (optional)

NOTE: Zipper measurements include the seam allowance. It is best to remove the zipper teeth from the seam allowance when using metal zippers.

Just downloaded this pattern and love that the pattern pieces are in a separate file to the instructions and that there are cut list labels so I can label the pieces when I cut them out, especially if I’m sewing it on a different day.
