Introducing Daisy Zipper Pouch – Free Pattern by Allsewpetite

Hello, my crafty friends!!!
I am so excited to share my new free sewing pattern, the Daisy zipper pouch! (Click here to get the pattern.)
I designed this pouch as a favour for a friend who showed me a photo of a similar bag online and wanted to try it out but didn’t know how to make the corners around the zipper look so neat.

I am always looking for new and innovative ways to improve my craft, and the clean and sleek finish on the corners caught my eye, so I had to try it out for myself. I found an old pattern I no longer used and decided to hack it. I had to figure out the best and easiest way to sew the zipper, and after some trial and error, I got it right!
This construction method requires precision but results in clean corners and eliminates the need for zipper tabs – a perfect way to improve your skills and add a professional touch to your sewing projects.

Daisy zipper pouch features a top zipper closure, boxed corners, and a fully lined main compartment.
One of the unique features of this pattern is the alternative construction method for the zipper. This method does not require additional fabric pieces, unlike traditional zipper pouch patterns that use zipper tabs. Instead, the zipper is sewn directly to the main fabric, providing a cleaner and more polished look. The alternative zipper construction method requires precision and attention to detail, but the results are well worth the effort.

The Daisy zipper pouch is perfect for storing small items like makeup, phone accessories, or even your sewing supplies.

This pattern is an intermediate level, meaning it’s perfect for those who have some experience with sewing and are looking for a new challenge. It is the ideal project to come back to over and over again.

You will need the following list of supplies:

Height / Width

Skill level: Intermediate

Finished measurements: H / W / D

16 cm / 26 cm / 9 cm (6 1/4” / 10 1/4” / 3 1/2”)
