  2. Have used this pattern for a number of lap top bags. Only make them in Kiwianna ( cotton fabric depicting things NZ) Great pattern, takes time to cut out and complete but definitely worth the effort. I always include x2 foam covered full size slip pockets inside which means x2 lap tops can be carried in one bag. And always quilt the gusset, making it firmer and puffy. Also make the top zipper longer and with 2 zipper pulls so the bag opens more fully. Thank you for making this pattern available free its a gem.Have incorporated your side tabs for the full length shoulder strap into a number of other bags I make.Bags sit nicely on the hip and maintain their shape with side tabs.
