There was maybe one or two points that I was confused about, but was able to easily clear it up with the video. Overall a well written pattern and easy make. I didn’t care too much for the hand stitching, but next time I will check out the other video to see the alternate way.

Hi Monika. I absolutely love the style of this lunch bag & the size is perfect for my needs. The design of the zipper opening to flap down so can can easily pull the contents out is an excellent idea! The pattern goes together nicely until the last step of attaching the bottom lining. The method I used was to sew the two longer sides to the bag side, let me explain . . . Match the long length of the bottom lining to the bag edge & stitch in place using your sewing machine. Flip the other long edge of the lining so the bag edge matches & sew that seam using your machine. (Both long edges are now seen to the bag edging) Turn the bag so you can now turn under the short edges of the lining & hand stitch the two short sides to the bag bottom edge to complete your project. This method worked perfectly for me, hiding all raw edges & my bag looks beautiful & finished. I then attached to cute charms to my zipper pull as decoration. Thank you so much for this pattern! I absolutely love my lunch bag! It would be a really nice gift!

I love the size and the fact that you carry it flat rather than standing on end. I have not started it yet but my plan is to make it before the New Year. I really like your patterns as they are easy to follow and always come out beautifully.
