Hello, my crafty friends! I have a new pattern for you today, and I think you going to like it!
Shortly after the release of the Isabella pouch pattern, I was approached by a customer who wanted a pouch that could be used on scooters. They really liked the shape and style of the Isabella pouch, so I used it as a base to design the Scooter pouch pattern!
In today’s world, more people are choosing to be environmentally friendly and use scooters, electric scooters or bicycles as a means of transportation. I, myself, own a bike and electric scooter hence, I wanted to design a pouch that would have universal application. If one day I use my scooter to go to work and the next day I want to do some exercise on my bike, I wanted to make sure the pouch can be attached and released without any hassle. With that in mind, the Scooter pouch is not limited to just scooters or bikes, but it can also be used on prams, walking frames, wheelchairs and more.
The Scooter pouch is a great alternative to store a charger, repair tools and other small items such as a smartphone, cash, keys, or a snack without the need to carry a backpack.
This soft rectangular pouch opens on the top with a zipper to a fully lined main compartment and features an external front zipper pocket for quick and easy access on the go. Velcro straps located on the back and side panels allow for a fast and easy installation and release onto a scooter handlebar without obstructing the headlights.
The Scooter pouch is the perfect travel companion for kids, teenagers and adults!
This pattern is suitable for advanced beginners or anyone familiar with sewing zippers and box corners. It is a relatively quick sew with a lot of options for customization regarding fabric and fabric placement.
